Common use of Payments in General Clause in Contracts

Payments in General. All payments of Rent shall be made in Dollars by wire transfer of immediately available funds not later than 1:00 p.m. (New York time) on the date of payment, to Lessor to the account set forth on Annex B to the Participation Agreement (or such other account in the United States of Lessor as Lessor directs by written notice to Lessee at least 10 Business Days prior to the date such payment of Rent is due, or, in the case of Supplemental Rent expressly payable to a Person other than Lessor, to the Person that shall be entitled thereto to such account in the United States as such Person directs by written notice to Lessee at least 10 Business Days prior to the date such payment of Rent is due). If any Rent is due on a day that is not a Business Day, such Rent shall be paid on the next succeeding Business Day with the same force and effect as if paid on the scheduled date of payment, and no interest shall accrue on the amount of such payment from and after such scheduled date to the time of payment on such next succeeding Business Day.
