Common use of Payments Upon Completion Clause in Contracts

Payments Upon Completion. If the unpaid balance of the Contract Sum exceeds costs of completing the PROJECT, including compensation for professional services and expenses made necessary thereby, such excess shall be paid to the CONTRACTOR. If such costs exceed the unpaid balance, the CONTRACTOR shall pay the difference to the DISTRICT. This payment obligation shall survive completion of the Contract.
