The use of TLS will mean that private health information (PHI) and the identification of consumers as Medicaid recipients can be shared between ODJFS and the contracting MCPs via e-mail such as reports, copies of letters, forms, hospital claims, discharge records, general discussions of member-specific information, etc. ODJFS may revise data/information exchange policies and procedures for many functions that are now restricted to FAX, telephone, and hard copy, including, but not limited to, monthly membership and premium payment reconciliation requests, newborn reporting, Just Cause disenrollment requests, information requests etc. (as specified in Appendix C). 12.
