PEACE AND STABILITY. Section 1. It is understood that there shall be no strike, as that term is defined under the Public Employe Relations Act, during the life of this Agreement, nor shall any officer, representative or official of the Federation authorize, assist or encourage any such strike during the life of this Agreement. Section 2. Should a strike occur not authorized by the Federation, the Federation within 24 hours following the request of the Commonwealth shall: a. Publicly disavow such action by the employees. b. Advise the Employer in writing that such employee action has not been authorized or sanctioned by the Federation. c. Post notices on all bulletin boards customarily used for posting Federation business advising employees that it disapproves of such action and instruct them to return to work immediately. Section 3. The Commonwealth will not engage in any lockout during the life of this Agreement.
