Common use of Period of Authorization Clause in Contracts

Period of Authorization. (1) Authorization of a Covered Activity under this General Agreement shall expire five years after the date the department authorizes the activity under subsection (g), unless the department extends the period of authorization prior to expiration. (2) Upon expiration of the department’s authorization, Permittee shall be responsible for complying with Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code before continuing the activity.
