Period of Validity of Bids. 1. Bids shall remain valid for the days or duration specified in the bid document, after the date of bid opening prescribed by TSTSL . A bid valid for a shorter period shall be rejected as non-responsive. 2. In exceptional circumstances, the TSTSL may solicit the bidders’ consent to an extension of the period of validity. The request and the responses thereto shall be made in writing. The bid security shall also be suitably extended. A bidder granting the request will not be permitted to modify its bid.
