The Employer may at any time require an employee to undergo a periodic physical examination by an Employer selected physician to determine an employee's qualifications to adequately perform their work assignments. The Employer will compensate the employee for lost work hours, up to two (2) hours maximum, and the cost of the physical examination if performed by an Employer selected physician. Refusal to submit for a physical examination when requested by the Employer may constitute just cause for termination of employment.

Should it be found that the Apprentice does not have the ability or desire to continue the training to become a qualified journeyman, the Supervisor of Apprentices' should recommend to the JAC that the Agreement be terminated. Such a finding shall be deemed adequate cause for the cancellation of the Apprenticeship Agreement.
