Common use of Permanent Partial Disability Clause in Contracts

Permanent Partial Disability. If the accident leads to your residence employee suffering the loss of, or permanent loss of use of, one or more of the following within 26 weeks of the accident, we will pay weekly indemnity for the number of weeks written in the “Schedule of Benefits”. The number of weeks cannot exceed 100 in total. This benefit is payable in addition to the sums paid under “Article 2 – Temporary Total Disability”. The residence employee cannot receive benefits both under this article and under “Article 1 – Death” or “Article 3 – Permanent Total Disability”.
