Permit Assistance Clause Samples
The Permit Assistance clause outlines the responsibilities of one or both parties in obtaining, maintaining, or assisting with the acquisition of necessary permits, licenses, or approvals required for a project or activity. Typically, this clause specifies which party is responsible for preparing applications, providing supporting documentation, or liaising with regulatory authorities. For example, a contractor may be required to help the owner secure building permits, or a landlord may assist a tenant in obtaining occupancy certificates. The core function of this clause is to ensure that all legal and regulatory permissions are secured in a timely manner, thereby preventing project delays or legal complications due to missing permits.
