Personal Discretionary Days. Eligibility for personal discretionary days shall be calculated on years of service as per Article 13.01. A maximum of two (2) discretionary days will be granted per school year for the purpose of conducting personal business. Employees who have worked in the district from four years to seven years shall be eligible to receive one (1) personal discretionary day per school year, without loss of pay. This is non-chargeable to sick leave. Employees who have worked in the district for seven years or more shall be eligible to receive two (2) personal discretionary days per school year without loss of pay. This is non-chargeable to sick leave. Notification for such leave must be given to the Principal or Supervisor at least three (3) days in advance. These days will be carried forward into the future until they are used.
