Personal Mail. Section 1. The Employer reserves the right to open all mail received at the facility to ensure proper distribution. The Employer will not deliberately open mail which is marked “personal” and/or “confidential.” The Employer will not be liable in any manner and no grievance shall be filed if mail marked “personal” and/or “confidential” gets opened inadvertently. The Employer and the Union agree to encourage employees to have their personal mail delivered to an address other than the Employer. The Employer will instruct employees not to open mail which is clearly marked “Union Business - Confidential.”
