Common use of Personal Property of County Clause in Contracts

Personal Property of County. Any personal property such as, but not limited to, protective or safety devices, badges, identification cards, keys, uniforms, vehicles, reference materials, furniture, appliances, etc. provided to Contractor by County pursuant to this Agreement is, and at the termination of this Agreement remains, the sole and exclusive property of the County. Contractor will use reasonable care to protect, safeguard and maintain such items while they are in Contractor's possession. Contractor will be financially responsible for any loss or damage to such items, partial or total, that is the result of Contractor's negligence.
