Common use of Persons Deemed Owner Clause in Contracts

Persons Deemed Owner. Prior to due presentment for registration of transfer of any Note, Issuer, Indenture Trustee and any agent of Issuer or Indenture Trustee may treat the Person in whose name any Note is registered (as of the day of determination) as the owner of such Note for the purpose of receiving payments of principal of and interest, if any, on such Note and for all other purposes whatsoever, whether or not such Note be overdue, and neither Issuer, Indenture Trustee nor any agent of Issuer or Indenture Trustee shall be affected by notice to the contrary.
