Common use of Phased Construction Clause in Contracts

Phased Construction. The CM/GC shall provide recommendations with regard to accelerated or fast-track scheduling, procurement, or phased issuance of Drawings and Specifications and construction of the Work. The CM/GC shall take into consideration cost reductions, cost information, constructability, provisions for temporary facilities and procurement, time of performance, availability of labor and materials, and construction scheduling issues.

The CM/GC GC, in consultation with the Engineer, shall provide recommendations with regard to accelerated or fast-fast- track scheduling, procurement, or and sequencing for phased issuance of Drawings and Specifications and construction of the Workconstruction. The CM/GC shall take into consideration cost reductions, cost information, constructability, provisions for temporary facilities facilities, and procurement, time of performance, availability of labor and materials, procurement and construction scheduling issues.
