PHYSICAL AND BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES. (At least 1 course = 3 semester units) All courses listed in the General Education requirements for the AA degree under Group 1 of Area B: Physical Universe and Its Life Forms; OR Area B1: Physical Science and B2: Life Science for CSU GE-Breadth; OR Area 5: Physical and Biological Sciences for IGETC. Other courses not listed above that are applicable to the AA and AS degrees may be reviewed for applicability as electives. Students are encouraged to take courses from any business-related area to enhance their preparation for the Graziadio School’s BSM program. In addition, the following courses have been articulated so as to provide an option for students to WAIVE UP TO 12 UNITS OF BSM COURSE WORK, thus reducing the residential units to be taken at Pepperdine to 48 units. A minimum of four additional elective units are required for each four-unit courses waived. • Grade B or better in ACCTG G101 (4) and ACCTG G102(4) to waive ACCT 472Accounting (4) • Grade B or better in ECON G180 (3) and ECON G285 (3) to waive ECNM 469 Managerial Economics (4) • Grade B or better in COMP SCI G130 (4) and COMP SCI G170 (3) to waive ISTM 476 Information Systems for Business and Management (4)
