Common use of Physician Determination Clause in Contracts

Physician Determination. Injury leave may be granted to a member only for injuries determined by a licensed physician. The Employer retains the right to review medical records of the employee and further, the employee may be required to submit to a medical examination by a physician retained by the Employer for the purpose of establishing the validity of the claim for injury leave.
