Picking Up Shares. In order to receive your share, you have the option of picking up fromany of our pick up locations (listed on the table below) or signing up for home delivery, which does include a delivery fee. Choosing the home delivery option means that you will be receiving a boxof preselected, fresh produce that we fill into your boxand have delivered to your home. Choosing the pick-up option means that you will have the freedomto fill your own boxwith whatever produce we have available at your pick up location. Pick up option: Electing to pick up from one of our pick up locations, you will have selectedone location to pick up your first share. On that first week, you will receive your own CSA boxto use for weekly pick-ups. Following the first week, you may choose any of the following locations/days to pick up at your convenience. If you wish to change your pick-up day, you must let us know no later than the day before your scheduled pick up. Shares that are not retrieved within the pick-up time will be forfeited. Please plan to move your produce to a cool location as soon as possible upon picking your share up and wash all food before eating. Agreeing to pay for your Farm Share in advance lessens the burden of up-front costs for the farmers. In order to secure membership, we ask that you pay your deposit upon signing up. If you fail to purchase any of your 12 farm shares, your deposit will be forfeited and used to cover the cost of that share. If you fail to purchase two weeks of your Farm Shares, you will forfeit the program. Checks should be made to "ALT Farms" and include "Farm Share" in the memo line.
