PIGGYBACKING. No first day deliveries will be piggybacked. Except in case of imbalance no present tractor trailer run will be piggybacked unless a comparable tractor trailer run has been added by the Company. When new tractor trailer runs are established the Company shall designate such runs as replacements for runs which are to be pig- gybacked. Such runs shall be put up for bid pursuant to the senior- ity provisions of the contract. No present tractor trailer driver will lose tractor trailer driver’s work and no present tractor trailer driv- er will lose tractor trailer driver’s work due to piggybacking. “Present,” as used in this section, shall refer to the ninety-one (91) tractor trailer runs in effect the month of April 1971.
PIGGYBACKING. The practice of procurement by one agency using the agreement of another agency is called piggybacking. The ability to piggyback onto an existing contract is not unlimited. The Sub- Recipient’s written procurement policy shall be submitted to the Division and shall allow for piggybacking. The existing contract shall contain language or other legal authority authorizing third parties to make purchases from the contract with the vendor’s consent. The terms and conditions of the new contract, including the Scope of Work, shall be substantially the same as those of the existing contract and approved by the Division. The piggyback contract shall not exceed the existing contract in scope or volume of goods or services. A Sub-Recipient shall not use the preexisting contract merely as a “basis to begin negotiations” for a broader or materially different contract. Statutory changes enacted by the Legislature impose additional requirements on grant and Sub- Recipient agreements funded with federal or state financial assistance. Section 215.971(1) states: An agency agreement that provides state financial assistance to a Recipient or Sub-Recipient, as those terms are defined in section215.97, Florida Statutes, or that provides federal financial assistance to a Sub-Recipient, as defined by applicable United States Office of Management and Budget circulars, shall include all of the following: ● A provision specifying a Scope of Work that clearly establishes the tasks that the Recipient or Sub-Recipient is required to perform. ● A provision dividing the agreement into quantifiable units of deliverables that shall be received and accepted in writing by the agency before payment. Each deliverable shall be directly related to the Scope of Work and specify the required minimum level of service to be performed and the criteria for evaluating the successful completion of each deliverable. ● A provision specifying the financial consequences that apply if the Recipient or Sub- Recipient fails to perform the minimum level of service required by the agreement. The provision can be excluded from the agreement only if financial consequences are prohibited by the federal agency awarding the grant. Funds refunded to a state agency from a Recipient or Sub-Recipient for failure to perform as required under the agreement may be expended only in direct support of the program from which the agreement originated. ● A provision specifying that a Recipient or Sub-Recipient of federal or state...
PIGGYBACKING. It is understood that the goods and services described in the specifications may be purchased by the City and any other municipal bodies as set forth in the specifications and bidder agrees to supply the goods and services to the municipal bodies on the same terms and conditions as if they were to be supplied to the City. To the extent that the municipal bodies purchase goods or services, then the municipal bodies, and not the City, shall be liable to the bidder.
PIGGYBACKING. 1. Wicomico County may authorize, upon request, any governmental entity (hereafter Authorized User) within the County to purchase items under the contract awarded pursuant to this bid solicitation.
2. All purchase orders issued against the contract by an authorized User shall be honored by the Contractor in accordance with all terms and conditions of this contract.
3. The issuance of a purchase order by an Authorized User pursuant to this provision shall constitute an express assumption of all contractual obligations, covenants, conditions and terms of the contract. A breach of the contract by any particular Authorized User shall neither constitute nor be deemed a breach of the contract as a whole which shall remain in full force and effect, and shall not affect the validity of the contract nor the obligations of the Contractor thereunder respecting the County.
4. The County specifically and expressly disclaims any and all liability for any breach by an authorized User other than the County and each such Authorized User and Contractor guarantee to save the County, its officers, agents and employees harmless from any liability that may be or is imposed by the Authorized User’s failure to perform in accordance with its obligations under the contract.
PIGGYBACKING. There is no piggybacking on this bid.

No present feeder driver will lose feeder driver’s work due to piggybacking. “Present”, as used in this Section, shall refer to feeder runs in effect as of September 1, 1976.

Contractor acknowledges and agrees that, pursuant to State Finance Law § 163(10)(e), the New York State Office of General Services may authorize and approve purchases from contracts let by ITS to other New York State agencies, the United States Government or any other state, with the concurrence of the Office of the State Comptroller and under appropriate circumstances.
PIGGYBACKING. Idaho Code 67-2803(1) provides a Bidding exemption for state agencies and political subdivisions where the procurement duplicates the price and substance of a contract for like goods or services that have been competitively Bid by the State of Idaho or one of its political subdivisions. Bidders agree to make the prices, terms and conditions offered under this agreement available to other public agencies in the State of Idaho, as identified in Idaho Code 67-2337 during the period that this agreement is in effect. Upon mutual agreement between the Bidder and public agency, the prices offered to other public agencies shall be at the same rate as offered to Xxxx Xxx School District. WASD does not guarantee purchases from any other public agency. Any liability created by purchase orders issued against this agreement shall be the sole responsibility of the district or agency placing the order.
PIGGYBACKING. When awarded a BPA, other federal agencies may also utilize these services. In the past, the U.S. Probation Office in Cincinnati, Ohio and the U.S. Pretrial Services Office in Cincinnati, Ohio have piggybacked off our treatment services
PIGGYBACKING. Notwithstanding the preceding, ITS shall have the option to extend the terms and conditions related to the scope of services covered by the Contract to any other State agency to the extent that the performance of such services are for IES related projects, services or systems.
