Common use of Pilotage Clause in Contracts

Pilotage. The owner or Master of a vessel moving under circumstances in which pilotage is compulsory under the Ports and Harbours Regulations is liable for any loss or damage caused by the vessel, or by a fault of the navigation of the vessel, in the same manner as he or she would be if pilotage were not compulsory.
