Common use of Place of manufacture Clause in Contracts

Place of manufacture. No article furnished hereunder shall have been made in prison or by convict labor, except goods purchased for use by City’s detention facilities. The City may require Contractor to provide within seven (7) working business days from the date they are requested to do so, information and documentation requested by Purchaser, including but not limited to: sources of supply, distribution, dealership or agency agreements and authorizations from manufacturer(s) they claim to represent, lines of credit with financial institutions for manufacturer(s) they claim to represent, lines of credit with financial institutions and suppliers, numbers of employees, trade references and any other information to determine the Contractor’s fitness to supply the Agreement requirements.
