Common use of Placement of Purchase Orders Clause in Contracts

Placement of Purchase Orders. Prior to the commencement of every Fiscal Quarter during the Term, Intel shall place a non-cancelable blanket purchase order in writing (via e-mail or facsimile transmission) for Qualified Probed Wafers to be shipped by Micron for the upcoming Fiscal Quarter during the Term (each such order, a “Purchase Order”), which each such Purchase Order shall request a quantity of Qualified Probed Wafers that equals the quantity set forth in the current Response to Forecast for such period.
