PLASTIC BAND. Plastic coupling and end bands must meet the AASHTO specification designated for the culvert. Only fittings supplied or recommended by the culvert manufacturer may be used. Couplings must be split coupling band. Split coupling bands must have a minimum of four corrugations, two on each side of the pipe joint.
