Police Explorer Program. Officers and sergeants who work off–duty assignments related to the Department’s Explorer Post shall be compensated at their appropriate rate with compensatory time. However, any such compensatory time accrued will be coordinated with Police Management so as not to adversely impact shift staffing levels and overtime-related costs. Any hours accrued shall be subject to the provisions as set forth in Article 16.F (Compensatory Time) of this MOU; however, the City reserves the right to cash out any such compensatory time at the appropriate rate at its sole discretion.
