Common use of Police Power Clause in Contracts

Police Power. The City expressly reserves, and the Company expressly recognizes, the City’s right and duty to adopt, from time to time, in addition to the provisions herein contained, such ordinances, rules and regulations as the City may deem necessary in the exercise of its police power for the protection of the health, safety and welfare of its residents and their properties. This Agreement is subordinate to City’s exercise of its police power.
