Common use of Policy Deductibles and/or Self-Insured Retentions Clause in Contracts

Policy Deductibles and/or Self-Insured Retentions. The policies set forth in these requirements may provide coverage, which contain deductibles or self-insured retention amounts. Such deductibles or self-insured retention shall not be applicable with respect to the policy limits provided to GILBERT. A/E shall be solely responsible for any such deductible or self-insured retention amount. GILBERT, at its option, may require A/E to secure payment of such deductible or self-insured retention by a surety bond or irrevocable and unconditional Letter of Credit.
