Political Aid and Legislative Influence Prohibited Sample Clauses

The "Political Aid and Legislative Influence Prohibited" clause prohibits parties from providing financial or other forms of support to political candidates, parties, or officials, and from attempting to improperly influence legislation or government decisions. In practice, this means that neither party may make campaign contributions, offer gifts, or engage in lobbying activities on behalf of the other party in connection with the agreement. The core function of this clause is to ensure compliance with anti-corruption laws and to prevent unethical or illegal attempts to sway political or legislative outcomes, thereby protecting both parties from legal and reputational risks.
