Legislative Action. IT IS AGREED BY AND BETWEEN THE PARTIES THAT ANY PROVISION OF THIS AGREEMENT REQUIRING LEGISLATIVE ACTION TO PERMIT ITS IMPLEMENTATION BY AMENDMENT OF LAW OR BY PROVIDING THE ADDITIONAL FUNDS THEREFORE, SHALL NOT BECOME EFFECTIVE UNTIL THE APPROPRIATE LEGISLATIVE BODY HAS GIVEN APPROVAL.
Legislative Action. Section 1. Provisions of this Agreement not requiring legislative funding or statutory changes before they can be put into effect shall be implemented on the effective date of this Agreement or the date otherwise specified in this Agreement. Necessary bills for implementation of the other provisions shall be submitted promptly by the Department of Administrative Services to the Legislative Assembly and both Parties shall jointly recommend passage of the funding and statutory changes.
Section 2. Should the Legislature not be in session at the time agreement is reached, the funding provisions of this Agreement shall be promptly submitted to the Emergency Board by the Department of Administrative Services and both Parties shall jointly recommend passage.
Section 3. Should the Legislature not be in session at the time agreement is reached, all other legislation necessary for the implementation of this Agreement shall be submitted to the next session (whether regular or special) of the Legislative Assembly.
Legislative Action. This Agreement and any amendments to it are subject to applicable state and federal laws, and shall be deemed amended to reflect applicable changes to those laws. Upon repeal of the statutes authorizing charter schools, this Charter Agreement is null and void.
Legislative Action. It is agreed by and between the parties that any provision of this agreement requiring legislative action to permit its implementation by amendment of law or by providing the additional funds therefore, shall not become effective until the appropriate legislative body has given approval.
Legislative Action. The cost of items contained in this Agreement and the provisions of this Agreement which supersede pre-existing statutes shall not become effective unless or until legislative approval has been granted pursuant to Section 5-278(b) of the Connecticut General Statutes or as otherwise provided by said section. The State employer shall request such approval as provided in said Section. If the legislature rejects such request as a whole, the parties shall return to the bargaining table.
Legislative Action. The University and UFF agree that neither will attempt to influence or support changes in existing statutes or legislation which would change the terms of this Agreement.

Legislative Action. The Board and the UFF agree that neither will attempt to influence or support changes in existing statutes or legislation which would change the terms of this Agreement or BOT-UFF Policies appended.
Legislative Action. Provisions of this Agreement not requiring statutory changes or funding by the full legislature before they can be put into effect shall be implemented on the effective date of this Agreement or the date otherwise specified in this Agreement. Necessary bills for implementation of the other provisions shall be submitted promptly by the Department of Administrative Services to the Legislative Assembly and both parties shall jointly recommend passage of the funding and statutory changes. Nothing in this provision shall be construed as to require the Governor to call a special session of the Legislature. If the Legislature fails to act or approve bills submitted under this Article, the parties shall reconvene immediately to renegotiate an alternative provision.

Section 2. Upon signing of this Agreement both parties will jointly recommend to the Legislative Assembly the passage of the funding and statutory changes necessary to implement this Agreement.
