  • Staffing Levels To the extent legislative appropriations and PIN authorizations allow, safe staffing levels will be maintained in all institutions where employees have patient, client, inmate or student care responsibilities. In July of each year, the Secretary or Deputy Secretary of each agency will, upon request, meet with the Union, to hear the employees’ views regarding staffing levels. In August of each year, the Secretary or Deputy Secretary of Budget and Management will, upon request, meet with the Union to hear the employees’ views regarding the Governor’s budget request.

  • POSITION OF THE PARTIES 4.1 This Agreement is an integrated package that reflects a balancing of interests critical to the Parties. The Parties agree that their entry into this Agreement is without prejudice to and does not waive any positions they may have taken previously, or may take in the future, in any legislative, regulatory, judicial or other public forum addressing any matters, including matters related to the same types of arrangements and/or matters related to CenturyLink’s rates and cost recovery that may be covered in this Agreement. XXXX agrees to accept these terms and conditions with CenturyLink based on this Agreement as reciprocal where applicable. Furthermore, to the extent they apply to CenturyLink’s provision of services and/or facilities to CLEC, such terms are intended to apply only to the extent required by Applicable Law.

  • Position Purpose To provide cleaning, packaging and sterilisation of reusable critical and semi-critical medical equipment within the central sterilising and supply department for both internal and external users. Department / Unit Specific Overview EGHS’ Perioperative department offers a wide range services to meet the needs of the local community and the surrounding region. The perioperative services include two operating theatres, day procedure unit – 6 bays, central sterile supply department, recovery room – 4 bays and a renal dialysis suite – 7 chairs. We offer a range of surgical procedures performed by our resident and visiting surgeons, these include; general surgery, gynaecology, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, urology, dental, Ear nose and throat, caesarean section and certain emergency surgeries. Responsibilities and Major Activities Responsible for routine and special purpose cleaning in the perioperative unit to maintain a clean environment to assist in the prevention of cross-infection To dispose of soiled materials appropriately and safely in accordance with EGHS policy Assist in the maintenance of supplies required within the Department, including linen, reusable and single use equipment, instruments and consumables Decontamination and high level disinfection of flexible endoscopes Maintain appropriate records and statistical information associated with the department Assist in the continual development of the unit, identifying opportunities for improving performance Completion of sterilisation duties in a timely and efficient manner and to a high standard Assist with the education and training and orientation of perioperative personal Undertake any other duties as directed by the Manager of Perioperative Services Key Performance Indicators Demonstrates accurate documentation of activities. Works to best practice, ensuring appropriate standards, procedures and protocols are used as guidance. If required commence study to progress to formal qualifications within the first six months of employment.   • Evaluation Rating The final summative evaluation level that is assigned to a teacher based on the holistic review of all Evaluation Factors, observed during the Evaluation Cycle. The rating shall be “accomplished”, “skilled”, “developing”, or “ineffective”. The final rating shall not be weighted in such a way that one (1) domain or component of the evaluation system has a higher importance than another, except that any area marked N/A shall not negatively impact the evaluation rating.

  • Demotion and Layoff 10:1 In the event reduction of forces or curtailment of operation shall occur, employees shall be laid off in the reverse order of their Company seniority in the area in which they are working at the time of the reduction. The application of this Section to an employee working temporarily in an area shall apply only to the extent that it affects him/her in his/her regular area.

  • Performance Rating Describes the Educator’s performance on each performance standard and overall. There shall be four performance ratings:  Exemplary: the Educator’s performance consistently and significantly exceeds the requirements of a standard or overall. The rating of exemplary on a standard indicates that practice significantly exceeds proficient and could serve as a model of practice on that standard district-wide.  Proficient: the Educator’s performance fully and consistently meets the requirements of a standard or overall. Proficient practice is understood to be fully satisfactory.

  • Senior Level Negotiations If after fifteen (15) Days of receipt of the Dispute Notice Response by the submitting party or, in the event that the receiving party fails to timely submit a Dispute Notice Response, either Party may, by providing written Notice to the other party, request that the Dispute be resolved by direct negotiations between senior level negotiators of the parties (“Senior Level Negotiations Notice”). It is within each party’s discretion to determine who constitutes a senior level negotiator, and this person may be, among other possibilities, a senior executive or in-house counsel. The senior level negotiators shall confer as often as they deem reasonably necessary to exchange information and attempt to resolve the Dispute within thirty (30) Days after the Senior Level Negotiations Notice is given to the other party.
