Common use of Possession of the Site Clause in Contracts

Possession of the Site. 3.5.1 The Department shall give possession of the site to the Contractor. If possession of a part site is given, the Department will ensure that the part site so handed over is amenable to carry out the work at site by the Contractor. 3.5.2 The Contractor shall provide the Engineer-in-Charge and any person authorized by the Engineer- in-Charge, access to the site and to any place where work in connection with the Contract is being carried out or is intended to be carried out.
