Posting to Core Roles. Officers will be posted to the roles within the collaborative teams taking into consideration travelling distances. A preferencing exercise may be undertaken in the slotting process to enable officers to state preferred location etc. Officers who do not transfer to the teams and where the mileage is above their home force agreement will be redeployed/ posted in line with existing home force policies. Where more officers wish to transfer to the collaborative team than there are roles a competitive selection process will be used following consultation with the Police Federation/Superintendents Association.
