Common use of Power of Attorney or Agent Clause in Contracts

Power of Attorney or Agent. When an agent signs the proposal, a power of attorney shall either be on file with the Trustees before the opening of proposals, or be submitted with the proposal. Failure to submit a necessary power of attorney may result in the rejection of the proposal as irregular and unauthorized. A power of attorney is not necessary in the case of a general partner of a partnership.
