Common use of Pre-existing Intellectual Property Rights Clause in Contracts

Pre-existing Intellectual Property Rights. Each Party shall retain sole and exclusive ownership of and/or unrestricted right to license any pre-existing Intellectual Property Rights owned by such Party or in which such Party has an interest.

Pre-existing Intellectual Property Rights. Each Party shall retain remain the sole owner of the intellectual property rights, know-how and exclusive ownership methods it already prior to the entry into force of and/or unrestricted right this Agreement, as well as any improvements or supplements they may bring or make to license any such pre-existing Intellectual Property Rights owned by such intellectual property rights during the term of this Agreement. On those grounds, each Party or in which such Party has an interestmay then reuse at its discretion its pre-existing intellectual property rights and agrees to treat as confidential the other Party's pre-existing intellectual property rights.
