Common use of Preoperational System Tests Clause in Contracts

Preoperational System Tests. Following the Construction and Installation Tests of the particular components and systems, the preoperational system tests are conducted. Activities during the Preoperational Tests are conducted in accordance with a Startup Administrative Manual as provided in the Project Execution Plan. Initially, the Joint Test Working Group prepares the system/components for dynamic testing. Systems are flushed, tuned, and prepared for preoperational and acceptance testing. The Joint Test Working Group, while coordinating any remaining functional testing, shall typically direct Owner's operations personnel in the initial starting and operation of the various systems.
