Preparation Cost. The District will type the Agreement and, after proofreading by the District and the Association, the District will print the Agreement. Printing costs will be shared equally between the District and the Association. Section 48.3. The contract will be made available online.

Preparation Cost. This RFQ does not commit the government to pay for the preparation and submission of a quote. The Contracting Officer is the only individual who can legally bind the Government to the expenditure of public funds in connection with this procurement.

In the event that JMAR decides not to continue to pay a maintenance fee or to take other action to maintain a particular patent, or decides that it is not in its interests to continue to prosecute a pending application or to file a new application, it will give sufficient prior notice to PointSource of this fact to enable PointSource to pay such cost or fee or to take such action and, effective upon the giving of such notice, JMAR shall thereupon relinquish all of its license rights to such patent; provided, however, nothing contained herein shall affect JMAR's obligation to pay the royalty under Section 3 above.

The notice shall describe the provision(s) or other subject matter to be negotiated and the reasons(s) for the request. Negotiations shall commence on a mutually agreeable date. Any modification mutually agreed to in writing by the parties shall be incorporated into the agreement upon ratification by both parties unless another effective date is specified.
