Common use of Preparation of Final Voucher Clause in Contracts

Preparation of Final Voucher. Upon determining the balance due hereunder other than on account of claims, the Engineer will prepare and certify, for the Commissioner’s approval, a voucher for final payment in that amount less any and all deductions authorized to be made by the Commissioner under this Contract or by Law. In the case of a lump sum Contract, the Commissioner shall certify the voucher for final payment within thirty (30) Days from the date of completion and acceptance of the Work, provided all requests for extensions of time have been acted upon.
