Prepare Engineer’s Design Report Sample Clauses

The "Prepare Engineer’s Design Report" clause requires the engineer to compile and submit a comprehensive report detailing the design aspects of a project. This typically involves summarizing design calculations, presenting drawings, and outlining key technical decisions or recommendations made during the design phase. The report serves as a formal record for review and approval by the client or relevant authorities, ensuring that all design considerations are documented and understood before proceeding. Its core function is to provide transparency and accountability in the design process, helping to prevent misunderstandings and facilitating informed decision-making.
Prepare Engineer’s Design Report. During the preparation of the construction plans and specifications, an engineer design report will be prepared. The report will include the summary of the project, pavement, drainage design, schedule and cost estimate for the completion of the project. The design report will follow the current FAA Airports guidance where applicable. The design report will be submitted for Sponsor and FAA review. Review comments will be incorporated in the final revised report.
Prepare Engineer’s Design Report. This task includes preparation of the Engineer’s Design Report in accordance with current FAA Northwest Mountain Region Engineer’s Design Report guidelines. The Engineer’s Design Report will include a detailed summary of the project, photographs and descriptions of existing site conditions, pavement life cycle cost analysis, recycling, and material availability analysis, estimate of project costs, and a schedule for the completion of the design, CM/AR acquisition, and construction. Modifications of the FAA standards are not anticipated to be necessary for the project. The Engineer’s Design Report will contain any alternative design concepts that were investigated and evaluated.

The report will include a detailed description of the work, photographs of the site, specific elements of the design, a schedule for the completion of the design, bidding and construction of the work, any alternative design concepts that were investigated and evaluated, Modifications of Standards, and a summary of the CSPP. A General Plan depicting limits of construction and establishing project control and design parameters will be included as well as an Engineer’s cost estimate. A copy of the Geotechnical Report will be included as an attachment. This document is anticipated to be approximately 50 pages in length including appendices.
