Speaking and listening skills continue to be emphasized with greater speaking proficiency developed. Students will develop reading and writing skills in Spanish along with continued use of the language in class. This The course continues to build on refine the four skills established areas learned in Spanish I. Speaking I and listening skills continue II: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. With much of the course conducted exclusively in Spanish, students will learn and apply new grammatical structures to be emphasized with greater higher level vocabulary in order to further expand communication skills. Primary focus is on speaking proficiency developedin non-scripted and unrehearsed settings. Students will develop reading and writing skills in Honors Spanish along with continued use of the language in class. The focus on using the language in authentic situations will be expanded and increased communication in Spanish is required in the classroom. Spanish IIIIV Grade levels: 11-12
