PRESCHEMATIC SERVICES Sample Clauses

The Preschematic Services clause defines the scope of work and responsibilities that an architect or design professional must perform before the schematic design phase of a project begins. Typically, this includes tasks such as gathering project requirements, conducting site analysis, and preparing preliminary studies or feasibility reports. By clearly outlining these early-stage services, the clause ensures that both parties understand what preparatory work will be completed, helping to set expectations and avoid misunderstandings about deliverables and timelines at the outset of the project.
PRESCHEMATIC SERVICES. Preschematic Services may include the preliminary investigation and analysis of the Project, the Site and the familiarization with baseline information identified in the initial investigation. The CONTRACTOR shall define and confirm the building program, provide preliminary design solutions, anticipated Construction Cost estimates and anticipated Project Schedule. The CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for the work of its Subconsultant(s) and for the coordination of its work and the work of its various Subconsultant(s), including, but not limited to, the information presented within the phase submission.
PRESCHEMATIC SERVICES. A. Investigation and Analysis The CONSULTANT shall a. visit and thoroughly inspect the Project Site, including any structures and natural or man-made features to be modified; b. familiarize itself with the survey of the location of all existing buildings, utilities, conditions, streets, equipment, components and other attributes having or likely to have an impact on the Project; c. familiarize itself with the OWNER’s layout and design requirements, conceptual design objectives and Approved Fabrication/Installation Budget; d. familiarize itself with pertinent Project information and programming needs; e. familiarize itself with, review and analyze local zoning restrictions and requirements including: i. Determining the proposed structure(s) compliance (or noncompliance) with the local municipality’s Planning and Zoning Codes. f. gather any other information necessary for a thorough understanding of the Project; and g. attend the Project kick-off meeting.
PRESCHEMATIC SERVICES. This phase shall consist of the preliminary investigation and analysis of the Project, the Site and the familiarization with baseline information identified in the initial investigation. The Professional shall define and confirm the building program, provide preliminary design solutions, anticipated Construction Cost estimates and anticipated Project Schedule. Related Provisions: The Professional is reminded of the contractual obligation set forth in Article 1 of Chapter Two of this agreement which set forth Work to be performed in each phase. This provision is intended only to raise awareness of the Professional’s obligations and is not a waiver or modification of any contractual provisions set forth in this agreement. The Professional shall be responsible for the work of its Subconsultant(s) and for the coordination of its work and the work of its various Subconsultant(s), including, but not limited to, the information presented within the phase submission. Section 2.1 Scope of Preschematic Services‌ The Professional shall submit preliminary investigation and analysis documentation, programming report, preliminary design options, the anticipated Construction Cost estimates and the anticipated Project Schedule to the Owner for review and approval.
