PREVAILING WAGE RATE PROVISIONS. Oregon law requires that if prevailing wage rate law applies a public agency must pay the prevailing wage rate for all contracts over $50,000. For contracts over $50,000, Contractor will comply with the applicable requirements of ORS 279C.800 through 279C.870 including the provisions in this Section 10.
PREVAILING WAGE RATE PROVISIONS. Oregon law requires that if prevailing wage rate law applies a public agency must pay the prevailing wage rate for all contracts over $50,000. The prevailing wage rate requirements, and other requirements associated with the prevailing wage rate, apply to the provisions outlined in this Section 17 and in sections 18 through 21 below.
PREVAILING WAGE RATE PROVISIONS. The Contract is subject to the state Prevailing Wage Rate requirements in ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. Contractor and any subcontractors shall comply with ORS 279C.838 and 279C.840 or, if applicable, the ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ Act (40 U.S.C. § 3141 et seq.). Contractor agrees that the provisions required by ORS 279C.830 pertaining to Contractor’s payment of prevailing wage rates shall be included as part of this Contract. Contractor and any subcontractor must pay workers in each trade or occupation that Contractor or its subcontractors or other person who is a party to the Contract uses in performing all or a part of the Contract not less than the applicable minimum Oregon prevailing rate of wage in accordance with ORS 279C.838 and 279C.840 or 40 U.S.C. § 3141 et seq if subject to the ▇▇▇▇▇ Bacon Act. The applicable Oregon prevailing wage rates for such workers are contained in the publication Prevailing Wage Rates for Public Works Contracts in Oregon effective July 1, 2017, including all applicable amendments (see links at ▇▇▇▇://▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇/boli/WHD/PWR/Pages/PWR-Rate-Publications-2017.aspx, and are hereby incorporated herein as though fully set forth as of the date the Request for Proposals was first advertised. Contractor shall also include in every subcontract a provision requiring the subcontractor to comply with this provision.
