Common use of Preventing Violence in the Workplace Clause in Contracts

Preventing Violence in the Workplace. The District and the Union shall review and evaluate existing security plans, and make recommendations to worksites for changes. The District and the Union shall continue discussions regarding violence in the workplace during the term of this Contract. The District and the Union shall reach consensus on the number of participants. Each constituency shall select its own participants. The discussions shall be conducted using Interest Based Bargaining or other effective communication processes. When needed, those employees involved in such discussions shall be granted appropriate release time.
