Common use of Price adjustment on Extension Clause in Contracts

Price adjustment on Extension. 26.1. Subject to clause 24.4 the price shall remain fixed for the Initial Term. 26.2. In the event of a possible Extension, the Authority reserves the right to review any charges payable to the Contractor for the provision of services beyond the Initial Term. 26.3. If the Authority approaches the Contractor in accordance with clause 50 concerning an Extension, the Authority must agree the charges to be payable to the Contractor for the provision of any services during the Extension, at least 3 months prior to the end of the Initial Term. 26.4. Any claim for an increase in the charges during an Extension will only be considered if the increase does not exceed the percentage change in the Jersey Retail Price Index (RPI) (or another such index as notified to the Contractor in writing) between the Commencement Date andthe date 3 months before the end of the Initial Term.
