Primary Curriculum Coordinators a) Appointments to the above positions will be for a period of one year or greater depending on the responsibilities assigned. They will be responsible to the Principal to provide leadership with respect to curriculum development and implementation and staff development in accordance with the School’s terms of reference. b) Where an appointment is deemed necessary by the School’s administration, the School will invite applications for that position from teachers in the relevant Branches and will consider such applications before making an appointment. c) Appointments to the above positions shall be a prerogative of the School’s administration. d) A Primary Curriculum Coordinator may be removed from this position for cause at any time by the School’s administration. e) Primary Curriculum Coordinators will receive a stipend of $3,500 per school year, in addition to the normal remuneration paid to teachers. f) In addition, depending on their timetable and on the responsibilities they will be assigned, teachers who will fulfill the function of Primary Curriculum Coordinator may be granted some release time. The maximum release time will be 90 minutes per week.
