Common use of Primary Disability Benefits Clause in Contracts

Primary Disability Benefits. In the event of the disability (as hereinafter defined) of Executive, the Bank shall continue to pay Executive the monthly compensation provided in paragraph 4 hereof during the period of his disability; provided, however, that in the event Executive is disabled for a continuous period exceeding eighteen (18) calendar months, the Bank may, at its election, terminate Executive’s employment and this Agreement, in which event Executive shall be entitled to receive the benefits described in paragraph 7(b).
