PRINCIPLES FOR THE ASSIGNMENT OF WORK. 1. The Company and Union recognize that work needs to be assigned in a way that allows the Company to provide the best possible customer service at a highly competitive cost, maximize its operational efficiencies, and consistently outperform its competitors in every facet of the business. Work will be assigned to and performed by all job classifications consistent with employees’ qualifications, experience, training, and personal and public safety considerations, and in a manner that accomplishes the objectives of this Article.
