Prior Contractual Commitments. Within the three (3) months before my participation in the first Local or State competition in which I am competing this year, and since that participation, I have not authorized any person, firm, corporation, etc. to use my name, photograph, picture, or present or future title that I hold or may hold, in connection with an endorsement to advertise any commercial product. I am not a party to any contract with any person, firm, corporation, etc. in respect to any present title that I hold or may hold, nor have I made any commitments for the future regarding any such titles. I do not have any legal obligations that would prevent or limit my participation and appearances in the State or Local Competition, any other Local Competition, State Competition, the National Finals or, if selected as Miss America, in the Year of Service, or my compliance with the rules, regulations, and conditions of the Program.

Should an Applicant/Titleholder currently have a contract to endorse or promote a product, in which she was engaged prior to the signing of her first Applicant contract, the Applicant is to submit this agreement for review to her Organization and MAIP for conflict review. The right to deny eligibility of any Applicant/Titleholder to participate in any competition based on any conflict of interest due to prior contractual obligations is within the sole discretion of the Local, State, and/or National Organization whose judgment is absolute and binding.

Candidate also asserts that she does not have any legal obligations that would impede her compliance with all rules, regulations, and conditions of the MAO Program. Candidate/Titleholder acknowledges, understands and agrees that she will not in any way endorse nor permit her name or likeness to be used in connection with the endorsement or advertisement of any products or services competitive to the products or services of an advertiser, sponsor, or licensee of the Local/State Organization(s), either as a Candidate or during her Year of Service, unless the State Local Organization approves such an endorsement or advertisement in writing.
Prior Contractual Commitments. I am not a party to any contract written or verbal with any person, firm, or corporation in respect to any present pageant title that I hold or may hold, nor have I made any commitments for the future regarding any such pageant titles. I do not have any legal obligations that would prevent or limit my participation and appearances or use of my name, voice or likeness, photograph, picture, video and/or audio recording in the National Pageant or elsewhere related to MAP.
