PRIOR SERVICE - ONLY APPLICABLE TO EMPLOYEES. HIRED ON OR BEFORE 06/30/2013‌ Prior service refers to the number of calendar days between a current employee or applicant’s previous hire date and their previous termination date with the County of Yuba as a regular employee. If, when applying the employee's prior service credit on a calendar day basis, it results in a date which falls within the first (1st) three (3) calendar days of the month, the employee will be given credit for that entire month. Should the application of prior service on a calendar day basis result in a date other than the first (1st) three (3) calendar days, the employee's adjusted SCD will be the first (1st) day of the following month.

  • Applicable to Full-Time Employees An employee who qualifies under Article 16.04 and is required to work on any of the above-mentioned holidays will, at the option of the Employer, receive in addition to shift premium, if applicable, either;

  • Employee Who Acts as Representative Where an employee wishes to represent at a meeting with the Employer, an employee who has presented a grievance, the Employer will, where operational requirements permit, grant leave with pay to the representative when the meeting is held in the headquarters area of such employee and leave without pay when the meeting is held outside the headquarters area of such employee.

  • Access to Employees Staff representatives of the Union shall be allowed to visit work areas of employees during working hours and confer on conditions of employment to the extent that such visitations do not disrupt the work activities of the area being visited. Prior to entering the work area, the representative shall receive permission from the appropriate department head or his/her designee stating the reason(s) for such visitations. Permission shall not be unreasonably denied.

  • Leave of Absence for Employees Who Serve as Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association An employee who serves as Local Coordinator for the Ontario Nurses' Association shall be granted leave of absence without pay up to a total of thirty-five (35) days annually. Leave of absence for Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association will be separate from the Union leave provided in (a) above.

  • Requirements Pertaining Only to Federal Grants and Subrecipient Agreements If this Agreement is a grant that is funded in whole or in part by Federal funds:

  • Compliance with Consensus Policies and Temporary Policies Registry Operator shall comply with and implement all Consensus Policies and Temporary Policies found at <xxxx://xxx.xxxxx.xxx/general/consensus-­‐policies.htm>, as of the Effective Date and as may in the future be developed and adopted in accordance with the ICANN Bylaws, provided such future Consensus Polices and Temporary Policies are adopted in accordance with the procedure and relate to those topics and subject to those limitations set forth in Specification 1 attached hereto (“Specification 1”).

  • Notification to Employees ‌ The Employer will inform new, transferred, promoted, or demoted employees in writing prior to appointment into positions included in the bargaining unit(s) of the Union’s exclusive representation status. Upon appointment to a bargaining unit position, the Employer will furnish the employees with membership materials provided by the Union. The Employer will inform employees in writing if they are subsequently appointed to a position that is not in a bargaining unit.

  • INFORMATION TO EMPLOYEES In the initial correspondence with an individual regarding potential employment in the bargaining unit, the appropriate department shall include a one-page statement about the Union, prepared by the Union at its own expense, provided that the statement is first forwarded to the Executive Director, Human Resources and is not determined to be factually incorrect or inflammatory. If the Executive Director, Human Resources does not forward any suggested changes within two weeks of receiving the statement, the information shall be presumed to be acceptable.

  • Notification of Employees A. Written notice of layoff shall be given to an employee or sent by mail to the last known mailing address at least fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the effective date of the layoff. Notices of layoff shall be served on employees personally at work whenever practicable.

  • Written Employee Jury Service Policy 1. Unless the Contractor has demonstrated to the County’s satisfaction either that the Contractor is not a “Contractor” as defined under the Jury Service Program (Section 2.203.020 of the County Code) or that the Contractor qualifies for an exception to the Jury Service Program (Section 2.203.070 of the County Code), the Contractor shall have and adhere to a written policy that provides that its Employees shall receive from the Contractor, on an annual basis, no less than five days of regular pay for actual jury service. The policy may provide that Employees deposit any fees received for such jury service with the Contractor or that the Contractor deduct from the Employee’s regular pay the fees received for jury service.
