PRIVATE LAW PRACTICE. 1. Attorneys may maintain a private law practice and may engage in the private practice of law which does not conflict with Attorneys’ professional services required pursuant to this Agreement. Attorney may, to the extent permitted by the Supreme Court Rules, Rules of Professional Conduct, and applicable law, represent clients in matters before boards and commissions of the City of Fernley. Attorneys agree not to file on behalf of, or represent clients in any lawsuits against the City, its officers, employees, or agents, or entities in which the City Council acts as governing body.

  • Code of Practice You understand that the Financial Institution has endorsed the voluntary Canadian Code of Practice for Consumer Debit Card Services, a copy of which is available from Us on request or at www.fcac- xxxx.xx.xx.   • Ethical Business Practices The Contractor shall work in partnership with the State to ensure a successful and valuable contract, and ethical practices are required of State employees, Contractors, and all parties representing the Contractor. All work performed under this Contract will be subject to review by the Inspector General of the State of Florida, and any findings suggesting unethical business practices may be cause for termination or cancellation.

  • HAZARDOUS PRACTICES No barbeque grills of any kind are permitted on balconies or in the unit. No open flames ie. Candle burning is permitted on balconies or in the unit. Do not dismantle smoke detectors as they are there for your protection. Use the overhead stove fan when cooking to avoid accidental, activation of smoke detector alarm. ABSOLUTELY NO PETS with the exception of Service Animals are allowed. If evidence of a pet(s) is found in the unit or on the premises you will be asked to vacate immediately with no refund of rent. FAMILY RENTAL ONLY Reservations made for teenagers or young single groups will not be honored without any accompanying adult staying in the unit at ALL times. All guests must be 25 or older unless their parent is in the condo. Any violators will be evicted according to Florida Statute 508.141 with forfeiture of all monies. FALSIFIED RESERVATION any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of reservation deposit, damage deposit, and/or balance of rental payment.

  • Deceptive Trade Practices; Unfair Business Practices 1) Vendor represents and warrants that neither Vendor nor any of its Subcontractors has been (i) found liable in any administrative hearing, litigation or other proceeding of Deceptive Trade Practices violations as defined under Chapter 17, Texas Business & Commerce Code, or (ii) has outstanding allegations of any Deceptive Trade Practice pending in any administrative hearing, litigation or other proceeding.

  • Collusive practices We hereby certify and confirm that the tender is genuine, non-collusive and made with the intention of accepting the contract if awarded. To this effect we have signed the “Certificate of Independent tender Determination” attached below.

  • Good Industry Practice 9.1.4 all applicable Standards; and

  • STANDARD OF PRACTICE CONTRACTOR warrants that it has the degree of learning and skill ordinarily possessed by reputable professionals practicing in similar localities in the same profession and under similar circumstances. CONTRACTOR’s duty is to exercise such care, skill and diligence as professionals engaged in the same profession ordinarily exercise under like circumstances.
