PRNTA President’s Release Time Sample Clauses
The PRNTA President’s Release Time clause grants the president of the PRNTA (Presumably a teachers' association) a designated amount of paid time away from regular duties to perform union-related responsibilities. Typically, this means the president is relieved from teaching or other standard work assignments for a set portion of the workweek or year, allowing them to focus on representing union members, attending meetings, and handling negotiations. This clause ensures that union leadership can effectively advocate for members without sacrificing their employment or overextending themselves, thereby supporting efficient labor relations and organizational representation.
