Common use of Pro-Rata Severance Bonus Clause in Contracts

Pro-Rata Severance Bonus. Payment in an amount equal to a pro-rata portion of Employee’s then-current target amount of annual bonus (disregarding any reduction to such target amount effected in the twelve months prior to the Separation Date) for the fiscal year in which the Separation Date occurs (such pro-ration based on the portion of the fiscal year worked prior to the Separation Date), paid in one lump sum amount within sixty (60) days following the Separation Date, less customary and required taxes and employment-related deductions.
