Probation For Nurses Sample Clauses

The 'Probation For Nurses' clause establishes a defined trial period during which a newly hired nurse's performance and suitability for the role are evaluated. Typically, this clause outlines the length of the probationary period, the criteria for assessment, and the rights of both the employer and the nurse during this time, such as the ability to terminate employment with shorter notice. Its core practical function is to provide both parties with an opportunity to assess fit and performance before confirming permanent employment, thereby reducing the risk of unsuitable long-term hires.
